Making Agricultural Inputs Work Harder.

Maximizing Returns on Every Dollar Spent Whilst Reducing Environmental Impact

OUR EXPERTISE

Agnetic Bio Develops Biological & Biobased Inputs for Agricultural Cropping

Line of Crops

We draw upon our expertise in synthetic biology, green chemistry, microorganisms and unique formulation development to create novel products specifically designed to improve the inefficiencies found in modern agricultural production.

Our products are designed with the core focus of:

  • Reducing Input Costs

  • Increasing productivity of crop production

  • Reducing loss in the environment

OUR APPROACH

Using Technologies to Farm Smarter

Our technologies focus on 3 main areas:

  • Enhancing nutrient use efficiencies;

  • Improving water and nutrient retention in soils, and

  • Reducing agrochemical usage.

01

Enhancing nutrient Use Efficiencies

We utilise biology and biological nitrogen inhibitors to improve the delivery, bioavailability and uptake of essential nutrients to the plant.

02

Improve Water & Nutrient Retention

Using our 100% biodegradable hydrogel applied through irrigation, we are able to capture and retain the water and nutrients in the root zone of plants.

03

Reduce Agrochemical Usage

We reduce agrochemical usage in two ways;

  • Providing growers with biological alternatives to agrochemicals, and

  • Deliver improved efficacy of active ingredient in agrochemicals allowing growers to use less of them.

OUR PRODUCTS

Our products aim to provide, cost-effective and sustainable solutions to maximize the yield potential of crops, through increased efficiencies of water and ag inputs. We aim to assist farmers to be both economically resilient and environmentally responsible through our innovative approach. . We aim to empower farmers to be both economically resilient and environmentally responsible through our innovative approach

What is driving the future of sustainable agriculture?

Eco-Efficiency

Farmers are striving for maximum crop yield while significantly lowering carbon footprints to support sustainable agriculture.

Economic Resiliance

Growers need to be empowered to merge ecological stewardship with financial viability, enabling sustainable business growth.

Sustainable Practice

Agronomic solutions are becoming essential to protect and enhance ecosystems align with environmental preservation goals.

Farmer Led Change

Farmers are responding to land productivity and environmental pressures, while also addressing soil productivity concerns and accessing premium markets for sustainably grown commodities.

Market Dynamics

Increasing costs and supply chain issues around nitrogen fertilisers are seeing a global shift towards ESG goals and food security, driving the need for higher productivity with fewer resources.

Social & Regulatory Changes

There is growing regulatory restrictions on fertiliser use and an increased emphasis on accountability and transparency within the agricultural sector to support sustainable alternatives.

What Drives Us?

Only 50% of nitrogen fertilizer reaches crops.

Despite the high cost of nitrogen fertilizers, scientists estimate that only half of the nitrogen applied to crops worldwide is actually absorbed by the plants.

This is astonishing on two levels.

  • Growers are literally throwing away 50% of what they are spending on nitrogen fertilizer.

  • The other 50% is lost into the environment as N2O (a gas 300 times as potent as Co2)  and leaches into our soil and waterways, leading to devastating levels of pollution.

In Vietnam, nitrogen pollution in the Mekong Delta has been devastating for communities, making it unsafe for drinking and washing due to eutrophication. This pollution has also severely impacted fishing, one of their main sources of protein.

Water scarcity

In some parts of the world, such a California, water has been so scarse and therefore expensive, that growers must be selective about what they grow, in order to get a viable return on their cost of water. When water runs off or leaches through the soil, it not only reduces the return on water costs but also washes away valuable nutrients, decreasing productivity and increasing environmental pollution.

Agrochemical pollution

Agrochemicals like pesticides and herbicides can seep into waterways and soil, risking water quality, soil health, and biodiversity. Sustainable practices help reduce these impacts, keeping our farms productive while preserving the land, water, and ecosystems we depend on.
